In the extreme north of Italy , the Trentino Alto Adige is a region in which the presence of a still virgin and uncontaminated, sometimes wild, nature nevertheless offers the opportunity to practice sports activities.
The splendid valleys (Val di Sole, Val di Non, Val Gardena) whose rivers flow from the Adige, contain lakes and streams, as well as olive orchards and vineyards.
Imposing mountain chains dominate the entire region: the Atesine Alps to the north, the Retiche Alps to the west, and the Dolomite mass to the east.
The optimum hotel system, alpine huts and many winter and summer holiday stations, have made the Trentino a fixed destination for lovers of nature and the mountains.
There are many famous ski areas. We can cite Stelvio, Ortisei, Madonna di Campiglio, Predazzo and Canazei.
